The black ink udon was uper tasty! I wish they would take reservation as I tried to get a table with the resort staff s help but they refused and we ended up not being able to eat here after driving almost 40 minutes on our arrival day. We were disappointed to have been turned away after a family got through the door just seconds before us and got the last table.

In the basement, street signs written a "step" word. Udon soft, like a very personal taste, the taste of salty miso is a comparison of Japanese, like the Japanese-style ramen is salty, must be psychologically prepared. Affordable, very ample servings. Family and co ordered tempura udon miscellaneous cooking, not usually eat small bowl 1300 yen, two people eat very full. Price list is 19 - 20 years snow season prices. The toilet is heated toilet sitting on the ski body aches for people who are very close! !

This place has the best udon!!!! This was one of our favorite meals while in Japan. We got the first udon dish on the menu, which was big enough for 2 people! We also tried the apple tempura, which was unique to try, since the area is known for their apples. Definitely worth a visit for dinner.

Love this place! Super friendly husband and wife shop. Pizzas can be changed to cater to vegetarians. They will turn away guests when they know they are very busy to please respect them when they say we are full because they know they are busy. We observed 2 people come In and were told to be turned away and they just wandered in and and said "sharing is caring"... Please don't be like them. Respect!

Portions are large and this is a place that needs booking unless you go early (before 630). Elderly couple run it and it has a cosy vibe. Good place to fill up well and will be back to try the other dishes. Tried the Kamzuri (fermented chilli paste) and had the regional flat wheat noodles.

Outstanding place for udon noodles! The atmosphere is super authentic and you can sit on a old fire place. It's a family owned business and its really good food.

Night use. It was saved while there were few shops open during the September season. It is on the first basement floor.Retro shop.Ordered alpine udon with cheese.First taste! It was delicious.

Delicious, hearty variations of udon at reasonable prices in a rustic Japanese atmosphere. Great bang for your buck. Seating is limited and reservations recommended. (Accurate English menu available)*NOTE: They actually take reservations on Saturdays, contrary to information listed on the Myoko guide pamphlet.Lots of variations of udon come cooked in stoneware pots with tons of ingredients/toppings so you get lots of vegetables, etc. Portions were good! They also have their own special recipes like "Alps Udon" with cheese and garlic? As well as squid ink udon.Came here after a day of snowboarding at Myoko Suginohara (5:30 PM), ordered Miso udon, nabeyaki udon & apple tempura for a grand total of around 2300 yen and left super stuffed.

It is recommended that the taste of the Udon noodles is richer.Soy sauce tastes fresh but more commonTwo people can order the No. 1 chowder Udon noodles, which is delicious and worthwhile.Cuttlefish udon noodles are also delicious!Fried apples are especially delicious to eat and see.

Loved the black ink udon and the akakura udon special. We added mochi to both (on top of the cheese...yum!) and highly recommend both dishes. The staff were friendly and worked to fit us in for the evening.

Great Udon place with Tempura run by wonderful happy local Grandma & Grandpa in basement.Cosy memorable atmosphere. Highly recommend, if you are game try the black ink squid Udon it has one prizes but be aware it is salty compared to regular Udon.May need to book in advance.

Excellent food and really warm hospitality, even though the husband-wife didn't speak much English. We ordered the squid ink udon, which was unbelievable. We also had tempura, edamame and Curry rice. Every dish had great flavor. Would definitely want to go again, even though the bottled snake and the stuffed raccoon creeped us out a bit!

Delicious udon and other sides dishes including fried chicken, tempura apple and edamame. Highly recommend the fresh apple juice too. English menus are available. The atmosphere is cosy. Three shared tables to choose from. Run by a friendly husband and wife team. Great lunch location.
